Storythos is run by Jackson Torchia. This page explains what personal information this site collects, why, where it goes, and the rights you have over it. Questions to jackson@storythos.com.

What we collect, and why

The site collects personal information in exactly two places, both voluntary:

  • The Founding Five application form — your name, email address, company name, and what you tell us about your campaigns. We use this to assess your application and to work with you if you take a spot. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering into an agreement.
  • The subscribe form — your email address, used to send you updates and offers from Storythos. Legal basis: your consent. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing is immediate.

Browsing the site collects nothing personal. We never sell or share your information for advertising.

Where it’s stored

Form submissions go to HubSpot, the customer-relationship platform we use to manage applications and the mailing list. HubSpot may store data on servers outside the UK; those transfers are covered by the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and HubSpot’s contractual safeguards. HubSpot’s own privacy policy is at legal.hubspot.com/privacy-policy.

Analytics and cookies

The site uses Vercel Analytics to count page visits. It is cookieless and aggregate: it does not identify you, follow you to other sites, or store anything on your device. The site does not use advertising or tracking cookies.

How long we keep it

Application details are kept for as long as needed to run the Founding Five and the work that follows from it. Mailing-list addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete either at any time.

Your rights

Under UK data-protection law you can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent at any time. Email jackson@storythos.com and we’ll act on it promptly. If you’re unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
